Look for close proximity to schools. Stanford Crossing is very close to some of the best schools in Lathrop, including within walking distance to Lathrop High School and only two miles away from Lathrop Elementary.
Make sure there are plenty of recreational opportunities. Lathrop has many great parks, and Stanford Crossing is flush with them. Stanford Crossing offers a variety of beautiful new parks featuring picnic areas, basketball courts, play structures and so much more. There’s even a skate park. The San Joaquin River runs along the west side of the community offering boating, fishing and birdwatching.
Factor in freeway access. Stanford Crossing is minutes from I-5 and offers easy access to Interstate 205 providing east/west connectivity to the Bay Area and Silicon Valley, as well as State Route Highway 120 an east/west connector between I-5 and Highway 99.
Don’t compromise on safety. The City of Lathrop is very safe. It opened its first Police Department in 2022, with a state-of-the-art facility to become Lathrop’s first ever law enforcement agency. Thirty-five sworn officers and 12 non-sworn professional personnel are ready to serve the community.
